Letterboxing

Before there was Geocaching there was Letterboxing. It started in the 1800's and it's actually still popular today! Instead of using a phone to find a box of cheap plastic thingies, you use clues to find a box which contains a little notebook and a rubber stamp. Many boxes have beautiful hand carved stamps in them (there are several hidden at Olana). Mark the notebook in the box with your stamp and mark your notebook with the box's stamp. Collect them all over the country. We will make letterboxes to hide in the TALC woods and challenge ourselves to find each other's. Then, everyone at TALC can search for our boxes.
