Using the book More Than Moccasins:  A Kid's Activity Guide To Traditional North American Indian Life as well as several other resources, we will learn about Native Americans from different regions of North America.  We will do crafts, lapbooks/research projects, reading/storytelling, foods, etc. If there is enough interest, we will visit the Iroquois Indian Museum (about 1.25 hrs away)  and The Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center (about 2.5 hrs away).

Kids in the middle age group will have a chance to contribute to The Talc Tattler by using class and/or home time to work on a short story, report, poem, drawing, or anything else that they are inspired to put onto paper. 

This class is for older students who enjoy nibbling on snacks while doing art projects in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.  Our first project will be to finish our paper plate looms that we began last semester and do a weaving.
